Your Silence
Your silence is killer and down right bone chilling.
Knowing your love being real and so willing.
To sacrifice such a thing just to save your own face.
What of your giving yourself in such grace.
Knowing that you are better than all of that.
Throwing it all away over a society's eye in which you already spat.
Try as you may to throw away a connection so deep and so tue.
You will realize to late what it really was and that is all on you.
Knowing you could have had the entirety of the world in the palms of your hand.
All you had to do was be real enough to see it through and take a stand.
Instead of being open you chose silence as your way out.
Guess it should not be so surprising in you reprising your role in this so called self doubt.
You had an unconditional love that was too great and true.
Wishing you all the best of my friend in whatever your trying to pursue.
As for me in all of this and where will I be.
